-- $19,284 in cash account. $8392 in contingency fund.
4. Property
Manager's Report [P. Wasil] -- The Pratt fence (formerly Wagner fence)
will be painted white.
5. Committee Reports
- Activities Fund [G. Sinclair; M.
Theoret] -- $2,716
- Garage Sale [G. Sinclair] -- A huge success! The Board
thanked Joan Krauter for donating the ad that appeared in the Bradenton
Herald.
- Holiday Party [G. Sinclair, K.
Lesjak] -- Invitations going out
after Thanksgiving. The ticket price for residents will be
$15. Only 100 tickets will be sold. A guest policy was
discussed.
- Festival of Lights, Hayride [G.
Sinclair] -- George looking to
secure commitment from volunteers to organize this event.
- ARC [G. Sinclair] -- Hyer's new house color was
approved. Harrington's foliage was approved and is now
installed. The Zeppi's have not resubmitted their fence request.
- Hawthorn Herald [K. Lesjak] -- Kathy is putting the final touches
on the next issue. Last call for articles!
- Common Grounds Committee [N.
Petrakopoulos] -- The Board's
position is that no additional discretionary tree work will be funded
in 2005. The 2006 budget is being set up such that more money
will be available for tree maintenance.

Unfinished Business
- Action Items Update [A. Stadlin]
-- The missing street sign at 92nd
St and 12th Ave had a glitch in the order. It is now promised for
completion within one week. A pine tree was uprooted next to the
West Pond, and it does not present any danger. The storm grates
behind the east side of Phase 2 need repair or replacement, and
Property Management will get more information needed to decide next
step.
- Beautification grant [C.
Quehl] -- The focus will be on
upgrading the front entrance plants. The lights and the benches
will not be possible, even with the matching grant. "The Friends
of Hawthorn Park" group is forming. People interested should
contact Claudia Quehl.
- Annual Meeting -- Will be on THURSDAY night, Jan.
12th. The mailer will go out by Dec. 12th. Anyone wanting
to run for the 2006 Board election should submit a short bio for
inclusion in the mailer.
7.
New Business
- Adoption of 2006 Budget -- The 2006 budget was reviewed and
adopted. Copies will be included in the mailer for the Annual
Meeting. There will be no increase in the dues.
- Front Entrance Sign -- Two residents volunteered and were
granted permission to repaint the peeling front sign.

- A petty
cash fund was requested by L. Lesjak for maintenance items.
