AGENDA
1. Call for a quorum of Directors
2. Reading of minutes of April 28, 2005 meeting

3. Review of Financial Statement and Accounts Payable
Report [M. Theoret] -- $5,000
will be moved from contingency fund to operations fund to cover the
tree work done earlier in the year.
4. Property Manager's Report [J. Lemerise]
5. Status of Lobeck billing [J. Lemerise]
6. Report on proposed amendments to bylaws, C&R;
special meeting -- We need to get
the vote out! If anyone has alternate addresses for seasonal
homeowners, please provide them to Jeanine.
7. Irrigation Pump repairs [M. Theoret, C. Quehl] -- The irrigation pump motor and
circuit are being repaired.
8. Management Company expectations -- Approved with changes.
9. Reclaimed Water Project -- Contrary to popular belief, we are
NOT yet connected to reclaimed water. The community cutover is
planned to follow the next meter reading date of June 5th.
10. Drainage Gates - Fiddler's/92nd St -- No progress.
11. Common Grounds issues - erosion, pine trees
- April 29 inspection by Peggy Dessaint of U. of Fl. Extension
Service -- 1) Homeowners
with erosion concerns may want to stem the problem inexpensively and
effectively with placement of concrete bags on the bank. 2)
Homeowners who have altered the contour of their properties near the
common area swales may have made the erosions problems worse. 3)
The pines north of Phase 2 will be tabled until early Summer, at least.

Committee Reports:
1. ARC [G. Sinclair] -- 1)
A small ornamental pond was approved. 2) A fence higher than
allowed was granted a special one-time exception because it is located
in a low area that gives it a lower effective height.
2. Activities Fund [G. Sinclair/M. Theoret] -- No activity.
3. Standing Grounds Committee - unfinished work [H. Schulte] -- 1) The work behind Mike Hogan's
house has been completed. 2) There is work that is needed on the
west pond. It was decided to get an estimate.
4. Hawthorn Herald [K. Lesjak] -- Many congratulations to Kathy
Lesjak for a wonder newsletter!
- New year for ad solicitation -- George Sinclair will drive the sales
of new ads for 2005/2006.
5. Ladies Tea [P. Mazza] --
Many thanks to Peg Mazza, Judy Theoret, and Kathy Lesjak for the
wonderful event!
6. Blue Star Salute [L. Sirotzky/G. Sinclair] -- Len Sirotzky gave many thanks to the
people in Hawthorn Park who helped. 270 churches and 42,000
students were involved. 350 Blue Star families were
registered. Len still has high quality American flags available
for sale.
7. Street sign cleaning volunteer project [L. Lesjak]
New Business/Comments from the floor.
- The ownership of the front
pond irrigation system should be addressed at the same time as the
developer loan with Pat Neal. George Morse and Mike Hogan will
coordinate efforts.
